From the Yonetomi NEW BASIC T-shirt series, we now have a new turtle neck design.
Our aim was to create a T-shirt that is “just right”. “T-shirts as innerwear are a bit see-through” and “heavyweight T-shirts are difficult to use as innerwear”. This long-sleeved T-shirt solves these problems.
In addition to being comfortable to wear, the fact that this is a T-shirt that you will wear frequently means that the durability of the product is also a big draw. The exquisite colors achieved through garment dyeing also add an accent to your styling, whether you are wearing it on its own or as an inner layer.

Yonetomi Seni presents a knitwear project focused on creating new essentials for everyday life. With clever details and subtle touches, made possible through in-house production, this collection offers pieces that blend seamlessly into modern living. 
The perfect thickness
This cotton fabric is densely knit, providing a soft yet sturdy feel that’s comfortable to wear. It offers the ideal balance between opacity and weight, making it suitable as both a top and an inner layer. 
The garment-dyeing process gives the fabric its unique texture, with the dye applied after the T-shirt is fully assembled, ensuring the stitching matches the fabric color. For the colors "12/Gray" and "14/Black," the stitching is left white for a subtle accent.
This dyeing technique creates beautiful variations in color over time, giving the piece a vintage look as it ages. 
Comfort and durability combined
The turtleneck offers a comfortable fit, with the neck area knit more softly than the body for a gentle, cozy feel.
You can wear it scrunched for a relaxed look or fold it for a high-neck style. 
The cuffs are made from tightly knit ribbing on a horizontal knitting machine. This ribbed construction gives the cuffs a neat, curved silhouette that hugs the wrists.
The ribbed fabric also prevents stretching from repeated washes, ensuring long-lasting durability. 
Perfect for layering or wearing alone
The not-too-big, not-too-small sizing makes this piece versatile for wearing on its own or as a layering piece. As a basic T-shirt that’s essential for coordinating outfits from autumn to spring, it’s worth choosing a piece that pays attention to every detail.

●Staff (165cm/52kg) Body type: Slim Wearing: Size 1 The shoulder width fits perfectly, but the chest area is wider, offering a relaxed fit. The sleeves cover the back of my hands, but the ribbed cuffs hold them in place without feeling bothersome. The length covers half of the hips, making it look great even when worn alone. This piece would also work well for layering with pullover tops in the winter. |

●Staff (171cm/61kg) Body type: Average Wearing: Size 2/3 I have broader shoulders, so size 2 fits perfectly around the shoulders. The chest is spacious enough, but since I prefer a looser silhouette, I liked size 3 better. The sleeves are slightly long, but the ribbed cuffs keep them secure. Both sizes cover the hips. If you're using it as an inner layer, size 2 works, but for wearing it on its own, I'd recommend size 3. |

●Staff (177cm/67kg) Body type: Average Wearing: Size 4 The wide fit provides a comfortable feel. The turtleneck has enough room and doesn't feel tight, which is a positive. The sleeves slightly cover the back of my hands, and the strong ribbed cuffs allow for a snug fit at the wrists. The length covers the hips, making it a bit on the longer side. |
