A Neo-Classic Model Inspired by the Archives
From the 1970s through the 1980s, adidas introduced the Island Series, named after resorts and islands around the world. Among them was the popular model “TOBACCO,” originally a training shoe reimagined for leisure settings.
Originally conceived to bring adidas into everyday casual wear, it retains its sporty silhouette while incorporating richly toned suede and a gum rubber sole—evolving into a lifestyle staple that pairs effortlessly with relaxed styling.
The upper is crafted from long-nap suede. Soft leather accents provide immediate comfort, allowing the shoe to fit naturally from the very first wear.

The leather is soft and molds well to the foot, making them very easy to walk in. I could wear 26.5cm, but my toes felt slightly pressed, so I opted for a half size up. The subtly rich color is excellent—pairing them with clean slacks instantly creates a modern, trend-conscious look. |
