FOB FACTORY
FOB FACTORY / F153 Selvaged Denim Tapered 5P Pants
F.O.B FACTORY's popular 14.75 oz selvedge denim made from Supima cotton.
By increasing the number of threads to the maximum, this denim is tough yet supple, conforming to the wearer's body. Repeated rope dyeing also gives it a beautiful, distinctive fade.
This time, we've also incorporated feedback from European FOB users. The rise is slightly deeper, the thigh area has a bit more room, and the hem is narrower, with careful attention to pattern making to create a beautiful tapered silhouette.

FOB FACTORY
Inspired by vintage workwear, military styles, and jeans, FOB Factory is based in Kojima, Kurashiki, Okayama, one of Japan’s leading production hubs. The brand aims to create garments that customers will be glad they bought even after three years of wear.

Rugged, Masculine Fabric
FOB Factory uses a 14.75oz original Supima cotton selvedge denim. By increasing the number of threads to the limit, the fabric becomes extremely tough yet molds comfortably to the body. As you wear it more, it fits better, making it durable for long-term use.

Develops Character with Age
Known for "denim that fades like vintage jeans no matter who wears them," you’ll enjoy outstanding color fades that enthusiasts will appreciate. The rope-dyeing method, which doesn’t fully dye the core of the thread, leaves the outer part of the yarn blue while the core remains white. This allows the fabric to fade as you wear it, developing the characteristic charm of denim over time.

Details That Vintage Enthusiasts Will Love
The front features a button fly with custom-made iron buttons engraved with the brand's logo. Unlike typical brass or nickel buttons, the iron material undergoes a unique aging process, where rusting gives it a distinctive and appealing look.

Also, pay attention to the hidden rivets on the back pockets. This detail, once used by Levi's in the 1930s to 60s, is a true vintage touch not found in modern designs. The hidden rivets were introduced to prevent damage to leather saddles and furniture, offering a smooth finish without visible rivets.
The leather patch on the waist is made from deer leather, used in vintage denim. The design reflects the brand's mission to create a lasting connection between the makers and the wearers of the denim.

Customer-Inspired, Refined Silhouette
Based on requests from European FOB users, the pattern has been updated. The rise is slightly deeper, with more room around the thighs and a tapered leg opening for a beautiful, flattering fit.

Staff comment
● Staff (165cm/52kg) Body type: Slim Wearing: Size 29 Size 29 fits perfectly. The waist has a little extra room, but it's not large enough to require a belt. The hips and thighs have a little room, offering a comfortable fit. |
● Staff (171cm/61kg) Body type: Average Wearing: Size 32 The waist fits perfectly. The hips and thighs have just the right amount of room. The hem has enough extra length for a roll-up, so if you're not a fan of rolling up, hemming is recommended. |
● Staff (177cm/67kg) Body type: Average Wearing: Size 34 The length fits just like on the model in the photo. The waist, hips, and thighs have just the right amount of room, providing a comfortable fit. |
● Staff (181cm/80kg) Body type: Muscular Wearing: Size 36 The hips and thighs have plenty of room and are not tight, and the waist fits comfortably with no issues. Size 36 fits perfectly. The fabric is soft and easy to wear thanks to the one-wash treatment. |
