Born in Japan in 2019 as a recovery sandal brand after studying the differences between Western and Japanese feet and spending approximately four years in development. The brand creates sandals designed to offer the greatest comfort for Japanese wearers. Its items are ideal not only for relaxing after long hours of standing or exercise, but also for everyday wear for those with lower back pain or herniated discs, as they reduce strain on the feet, legs, and lower back compared to harder sandals.







The Perfect Hold of “Six Straps”
The greatest feature of Wadu is its upper structure, made by weaving six nylon tapes with elastic cord. It gently wraps around the instep, minimizing wobble while walking.



Unlike sandals with adjustable straps, it requires no fastening adjustments and is easy to slip on and off. Designed for comfort, it can be worn comfortably both barefoot and with socks.







The three-layer structure of the footbed, midsole, and outsole reduces impact on the feet and lower body by approximately 40%, providing comfort even during extended wear. The bucket-seat midsole design supports stable walking, while moderate energy return delivers a natural, responsive push-off.



The outsole is built with the performance and durability of a proper shoe, offering reliable traction from urban streets to light trails.
