Vintage-recreated chino cloth
This piece reproduces the cotton chino cloth used in military trousers of the era. Designed for wartime use, the fabric is characterized by its firm, structured feel with an emphasis on durability. A one-wash finish adds softness, allowing the pants to feel comfortable and broken-in from the very first wear while retaining their crisp texture.
With continued wear and washing, the fabric becomes even softer and develops richer character. Made to be worn and aged over time, it’s a material that deepens in appeal the longer you live with it.
The front features a zip fly for smooth, easy wear, fitted with a TALON zipper—also used in World War I-era flight suits. This choice reflects the brand’s dedication to vintage authenticity, even in details that are rarely seen.
Five pockets are provided in total. The back pockets and coin pocket are finished with hand-crafted double-welt construction, adding both refinement and durability.
The defining feature is the double-needle lap seam applied at the side seams, inseams, and seat. This construction enhances durability and was a sewing technique used in the 1940s, requiring advanced skill and specialized equipment—making it a rare and valuable detail even at the time.
