Founded in 1948 as an Italian cut-and-sew brand. From knitting the fabric to sewing and washing, every stage of production is handled in-house, allowing GICIPI to consistently offer high-quality products at accessible prices.
Soft drop-needle rib that feels comfortable against the skin
The fabric is made from 100% cotton drop-needle rib. By reducing selected stitches from a conventional rib knit, it creates a distinctive vertical texture.
It is further treated with the Italian “MOLLE” softening process, helping to reduce the stiffness and roughness often associated with drop-needle rib. The result is a soft, supple fabric with comfortable stretch and a smooth feel against the skin.
A Henley neckline that frames the neck beautifully
A carefully shaped curve follows the natural line of the neck, while the neatly proportioned Henley opening creates a distinctive look. More expressive than a simple crew neck, it adds a subtle accent even when worn on its own.
The cuffs feature approximately 8cm of ribbing finished with flat seams. They keep the wrists looking clean while adding a subtle variation to the simple design.
The hem is finished simply with double-needle stitching, much like a T-shirt. This reduces the appearance of an underlayer and makes it easy to wear as a standalone piece.

The body is constructed with clean, straight lines to create a boxy silhouette that does not cling too closely to the body. With a basic fit that is neither too slim nor too loose, it looks clean and balanced even when worn on its own.
The hem is slightly longer for easy tucking, while remaining well balanced when worn untucked. From wearing it on its own in early autumn to layering it beneath shirts and jackets, it adapts effortlessly to a wide range of styles.
