BARACUTA
Founded by the Miller brothers in Manchester, England, in 1937, BARACUTA began by creating rainwear with excellent water and wind resistance, remarkable qualities for the time. Since the G9 was introduced as golf outerwear, it has become a defining example of the blouson style and continues to be loved around the world today.
Refined Fabric That Enhances the Classic Design
The outer fabric is a blend of cupro and cotton. The natural character of cotton is complemented by the supple feel of cupro, giving this casual blouson a calm and refined appearance.
The insulation is made from 100% polyester, adding welcome warmth for autumn and winter. Its softly padded volume also enhances the distinctive silhouette of the G9. 
The body lining features BARACUTA's signature tartan check, bringing the brand's classic character even to details that remain mostly hidden from view. 
The sleeves are lined with smooth polyester, making them easy to slip into even when layered over knitwear and supporting comfortable, effortless wear. 
A Beautiful Balance of Tradition and Function
The collar features a ribbed stand design. Its moderate height gives the neckline definition and creates a clean, structured impression throughout the jacket. 
The cup shoulder construction creates natural dimension around the shoulders while maintaining a clean, streamlined line. The three-dimensional shoulder construction, reminiscent of Derby jackets, adds a distinctly classic character.
Ribbed cuffs fit comfortably around the wrists while helping keep cold air out, adding extra warmth for the colder months.
The front features a two-way zipper and snap-button closure. The zipper can be opened from either the top or bottom, allowing you to adjust the silhouette to suit your movement and style.
Pockets are placed on both sides of the front, as well as inside the left chest area. The side pockets feature distinctive flaps facing in opposite directions, combining practical storage with a unique visual accent.
Ribbing at the hem creates the rounded shape characteristic of a classic blouson. It follows the body to refine the silhouette while preserving the unmistakable character of the G9.
