PRAS
A new shoe brand produced in Kurume, where the long-established Japanese shoe manufacturer "MOONSTAR" is located. PRAS produces world-class products in pursuit of a brand and quality that can only be found in Okayama and Kurume.
Optimized thickness Kojima canvas
The upper is made of the brand's original "Kojima canvas" produced in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture.
The fabric is made with a perfect thickness, taking into consideration the composition of the thread, twist and warp, to ensure durability and ease of wear.
The natural texture of cotton, such as cotton waste and a good degree of irregularity, is also attractive.
Attractive Hand-Dyed
Sumi ink is used for dyeing, and each pair is dyed by hand using a brush. After drying, excess ink is carefully rubbed off in water to prevent color fading, resulting in exquisite shading.
Even the shoe laces are dyed with sumi ink to preserve the dyed texture.
The left shoe is embroidered with the initials "SCC", the initials of Sunset Craftsman Company, which was involved in the dyeing process.
※The color will fade when wet with water, such as sweat or rain. Also, please be careful of color fading and color migration due to friction with the hem of pants, socks, etc.
Handcrafted workmanship
The shell cap on the toe is designed to resemble a seashell.
The toe shell cap is a simple look, but an eye-catching and iconic detail.
The molding of the upper and sole is done by skilled craftsmen, a process that cannot be accomplished by machine, but only by hand.
Manufacturing method and materials are the key to wearability
The "vulcanized manufacturing method" is used to ensure that shoes can be used comfortably for a long time. The shoes are made by adding sulfur to raw rubber and heat reacting it, using a chemical reaction to change it into elastic and strong rubber.
Considering the characteristics of the Japanese foot
These shoes use a Japanese-made last and have a clean, slightly slender design. The simple form fits in with the styling of both men and women alike, making them a partner that you will want to wear every day.
