Wind-resistant cotton twill built for winter
The outer fabric is cotton twill treated for water and wind resistance. It has the rugged character expected of military wear while remaining easy to incorporate as an everyday autumn and winter outer layer.



The inside features a substantial 26oz wool lining. Its considerable weight reflects the authentic construction of the Tanker Jacket, originally designed as winter combat clothing.

The front features large patch pockets characteristic of early Tanker Jackets. Unlike the single-welt pockets found on later versions, they create a rugged and distinctly classic appearance.





A wool rib collar that wraps warmly around the neck
The collar is made from 100% wool rib. Designed as a higher stand collar, it fits closely around the neck when the front zipper is fully closed, helping to keep cold air out.

Leave the zipper slightly open and the collar naturally stands upright, creating the rugged character associated with the Tanker Jacket. It is a functional detail that also adds visual interest to the styling.





Pleats are placed on both sides of the back to allow greater freedom of arm movement. The sides and sleeves are finished with durable double-needle felled seams, faithfully recreating the robust construction of the original utilitarian garment.



Fitted ribbing at the cuffs and hem helps prevent cold air from entering around the wrists and waist. Along with improving warmth, the ribbed hem creates a natural rounded shape that highlights the Tanker Jacket’s characteristic cropped silhouette.
