A variation of the brand’s signature “F2432 Denim Jacket”—itself a reimagining of a WWII-era Type 1 model—this piece shares the same silhouette but features a different fabric. Made with the heaviest fabric in the FOB lineup, it delivers an even more rugged character.
Woven on vintage shuttle looms, the fabric blends irregular yarns with long slub yarns, creating a dense, textured feel. The low-tension weave enhances the natural irregularities, resulting in a richly textured, dimensional appearance.
Retaining the refined specifications of the classic model, this version elevates the fabric to a tougher, more impactful level.

Inspired by vintage clothing, FOB FACTORY is based in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama—one of Japan’s leading production hubs. Rooted in workwear, military, and denim, the brand carries out all processes in Japan. Their goal is to create garments that customers will still be glad they purchased three years later.
Heavyweight 15oz selvedge denim woven on vintage shuttle looms.
This is FOB’s heaviest fabric, often referred to as “rugged denim.” Thick 6×6 yarns are blended with irregular slub yarns and long slub yarns, creating a deeply textured surface with rich depth.
Woven under low tension to satisfy true denim enthusiasts, the fabric features pronounced unevenness. Only a limited number of looms can produce this texture, making it a rare and exceptional quality.

Updated details with a distinctive twist
This F.O.B original model is based on the “WWII model” within the 1st type, reinterpreted with subtle adjustments. The pleats are secured with rivets, a defining feature of the design.
An original deerskin patch at the back of the neck adds a vintage-inspired touch.
Sizes 40, 42, 44, and 46 feature a T-back construction, also known as a “split back.” This detail originates from the narrow fabric width of vintage shuttle looms, where fabric was joined at the back to accommodate larger sizes.
Key seams are constructed with felled seams, enhancing durability while creating natural puckering that adds character. The stitching is done with period-correct orange thread, reflecting the brand’s attention to historical detail.
The back features a silver buckle, commonly referred to as a “needle buckle,” adding to its vintage character.
