An old American 5 cent coin as a pendant top
Designed by American sculptor James Art Fraser, the popular antique coin is commonly known as the Buffalo Nickel. The coin was designed by American sculptor James Artz Fraser.
This pendant top is made from a genuine coin and has an antique look and feel. It can be worn on a leather strap or a silver chain for a subtle accent.

A design with deep meaning
Indian Head The Buffalo Nickel, also known as the Indian Head Nickel, was generally minted between 1913 and 1938.

On the front is a portrait of the Cheyenne Chief Two Moons (Two Moons), a native tribe of the northern United States.
His people were forcibly imprisoned by the US government in 1868, but were allowed to live in their homeland after negotiations with the US government.
With this in mind, the word "LIBERTY" on the design of the Native American profile seems to have a deeper meaning.

As this is nickel material, the age of the piece has often been removed due to wear, making it very rare to find a piece with a clear age. The reverse features an American Bison (Buffalo).
Below the words "FIVE CENTS", at the top of the rim, is the mint mark of the Mint.
