A Japanese brand founded in 2007. While there is no clear concept, the brand focuses on three main principles: Made in JAPAN, the fusion of old and new, and creating clothes that the designer himself wants to wear.
Heavy ounce selvedge black denim
This denim is thicker than the standard 15.5oz denim from SANCA, offering a more substantial feel. It starts off slightly stiff but softens and molds to your body over time, developing a unique texture.
Additionally, the characteristic feature of this denim lies in its warp threads. By combining different thicknesses of threads (No. 5, No. 6, and No. 7), the fabric surface has a textured, uneven look, creating a rough, rugged atmosphere. The distinct texture of this heavy-duty denim offers a truly satisfying experience.
Craftsmanship creates a rich denim
This denim fabric is woven using one of the rare old shuttle looms that still exist. The warp threads are carefully tensioned to mimic handwoven qualities, and the weft threads are slowly woven in by skilled artisans.
As a result, the fabric retains the inherent charm of the original yarn, with a clear twill pattern and textured finish. It offers a rustic, rich appearance and a naturally comfortable feel.
Featuring a button fly with donut buttons at the front top, this is a classic 5-pocket denim, complete with hand pockets on both sides, a back pocket, and a coin pocket.
Playful details that embody Sanca's spirit
At first glance, it's a simple 5-pocket denim, but the attention to detail that reflects Sanca's unique style is worth noting. The pocket bags feature original "printed sleek" fabric, adding a touch of design to the back as well. These playful details are a signature of Sanca's craftsmanship.
The "red ear" selvedge, visible when the cuffs are rolled up, is another important detail. It’s a testament to the care and precision involved in using the old loom to weave the denim.

The jeans feature a unique tapered silhouette with a wide hip and thigh, gradually narrowing from the knee to the hem. While offering a relaxed fit, it still shows off a sleek leg line.
Additionally, the inseam is set to a slightly shorter, just-right length, so you can wear them without needing to hem them.
