Layered outerwear
The design source for this mountain parka is the U.S. Army ECWCS gore parka.

The fabric is made of moleskin with a soft luster, adding a casual elegance to the military look. With a moderately thick texture, it can be worn for a long season by making full use of layering as in the original.

JOHNBULL
A brand founded in 1952 based in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, with high sewing technology and sensitivity as its strengths. The brand creates new fashion values based on respect for "authentic" products that transcend time and continue to be loved by people.








Elegant moleskin
The fabric is made from a densely woven, slightly raised moleskin with a cupro blend. The fabric is characterized by its firm yet smooth feel against the skin, and its soft luster gives it a good degree of elegance.

The comfortable and lightweight fabric is easy to use and can be worn for a long season from fall to spring.



The lining is made of cotton polyester fabric, which blends in with the vintage atmosphere without any discomfort.






What is ECWCS Gore Parka?
ECWCS is a combat clothing system developed by the U.S. military, inspired by the layering of outdoor clothing, that responds to various climates by combining parkas, innerwear, and liners, etc. The first generation was created in 1985.

This item is designed based on the Gore Parka, a later model of the first generation that was introduced in the 1990s.






Reproduction of period details
The hood with brim can be adjusted with a drawcord. The neck is set slightly higher, even on windy days.



The front has a windproof double-zip and snap button closure. Loops for attaching rank insignia and other items are subtly accented.



Utility pocket on left arm and large flap pockets on each side.



The inside has four open pockets, so you don't need a bag for a short outing.



The drawcords at the waist and hems not only tighten to prevent cold air from entering the garment, but also allow the silhouette to change.






Relaxed silhouette
An oversized silhouette with plenty of room. The shoulders have raglan sleeves, so you won't feel constricted even when layering.

This item can be used for a long season in combination with a boa vest (sold separately) and various innerwear just like the original.
