Founded in 2007, FilMelange is a cut-and-sew brand that carries out meticulous in-house development from selecting the raw cotton to spinning, knitting, and sewing. With a strong commitment to Japanese craftsmanship, the brand also fosters future artisans at its own factory. 
Exceptional Fabric, Carefully Selected
The fabric is made from ultra-long staple Giza cotton, carefully selected from the finest grades and spun into a custom yarn developed exclusively by FilMelange. It is then spun in Osaka and knitted in Wakayama using a specially commissioned machine to create their original jersey fabric. From this season, all styles are made with a seamless tubular knit body, offering even greater comfort.
Lightweight yet durable, the fabric becomes more comfortable the more you wear and wash it, gradually molding to your body. 
The Old Melange color offers a beautifully nuanced finish, with a perfect balance of base tone and flecked contrast, elevating the brand’s vision to reality.

Minimal yet Refined
The neckline features a naturally relaxed opening—not too tight. The dropped shoulder design creates a laid-back silhouette with an effortless feel. 
Unlike standard construction with side seams, this circular knit design eliminates them for a seamless finish, preventing irritation and ensuring superior comfort. 
While the overall fit is relaxed, careful attention to detail in the pattern design results in a refined silhouette free from bulk.
This cut-and-sew piece naturally pairs with military pants and denim, but the refined fabric quality also complements more polished looks. It’s a wardrobe staple that elevates casual style.
