Inspired by vintage clothing, FOB FACTORY creates workwear, military wear, and denim rooted in classic styles. Based in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, one of Japan’s leading textile and garment production centers, the brand carries out every stage of production in Japan. Its goal is to create clothing that customers will still be glad they bought three years later.

Textured Indigo with a Character All Its Own
The fabric is made from 100% cotton sashiko cloth, woven with indigo-dyed yarn in both the warp and weft. Although the yarn is rope-dyed in the same way as denim yarn, the distinctive sashiko weave creates a textured surface with a pronounced sense of depth.

These raised textures bring out the variations in indigo tones, creating a depth and character that set this fabric apart from conventional denim.



Sashiko fabric has long been used for durable garments such as traditional Japanese firefighter coats and martial arts uniforms. This piece retains that toughness while being woven with a softer construction, creating a substantial fabric with a comfortable feel that avoids excessive stiffness.

The design features a Mao collar inspired by Czech military jackets from the 1950s and 1960s.





The chest pockets are positioned slightly lower, creating a distinctive balance that differs from a traditional work jacket.

The front features laurel leaf tack buttons. While not overly decorative, these vintage-inspired details naturally complement the rugged character of the sashiko fabric.









The silhouette offers comfortable room through the body while maintaining a clean, streamlined profile.

It layers easily over shirts and T-shirts, with enough room to accommodate lightweight sweatshirts and knitwear as temperatures drop.
