Driven by the desire to create simple, purpose-built gear and apparel, TRAIL BUM is an outdoor brand developed under the direction of Highland Design, led by Tomoyoshi Tsuchiya, a pioneer of ultralight hiking.







Ripstop Nylon with Excellent Abrasion and Impact Resistance
The fabric uses ripstop nylon blended with Spectra, an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene fiber. It offers dependable abrasion and tear resistance while remaining lightweight.

The reverse side of the fabric is also treated with a TPU coating, increasing the overall strength of the material while adding resistance to hydrolysis and water.





The main compartment features a roll-top closure. By extending the top section according to the amount of luggage, the storage capacity can be adjusted as needed. A single center compression strap also provides stability even when the load increases.



The large front mesh pocket is useful for storing jackets or gear, and can be used freely depending on the scene.

The body structure, designed with as few seams as possible, not only creates a minimal look but also contributes to lightness and stability.



The shoulder straps are fitted with thin padding. The thickness is carefully balanced by considering the capacity and the weight the backpack is designed to carry, resulting in just the right amount of cushioning without excess.



The wide shoulder straps are designed to distribute the load, supporting weight across a broader surface while keeping thickness to a minimum for a gentle fit against the body.



When your load increases, the removable chest strap comes in handy. It can be adjusted in height, greatly improving stability when carried.





A Slim, Stable Backpack Form That Feels Light and Balanced
With its simple, knapsack-inspired silhouette, this model stands out for the stability created by its slim gusset. Even when carrying only a few items, the contents are less likely to shift, allowing the bag to rest comfortably against your back.



The back pad is removable. You can leave it out when you want to reduce weight as much as possible, or replace it with a sleeping pad during overnight tent trips, allowing flexible adjustment to suit your style of use.
