This timeless work shirt is crafted from 6.5 oz chambray fabric, slowly woven on a vintage shuttle loom.
It features a rugged, textured surface with a naturally dry hand feel. With continued wear, the fabric softens and develops richer character—offering the pleasure of aging beautifully over time.
Authentic workwear details are faithfully reproduced, including a collar with a stand, chain-stitch runoff, triple stitching, and a gusseted hem. The relaxed silhouette is carefully balanced to avoid bulkiness, making it an ideal piece for refined, grown-up casual styling.

Rugged character with a natural, dry texture
This 6.5oz chambray fabric is woven slowly and carefully on vintage shuttle looms, using the lowest possible tension to achieve a handwoven-like finish. Its uneven surface gives it a rugged yet natural character, with a dry, lightly textured feel.
A fabric that grows richer with wear
Initially slightly rough to the touch, it gradually softens and molds to you with continued wear. Its character truly comes to life over time, especially through repeated washing and daily use.
Attention to detail—true to FOB
The neckline features a collar with a stand, paired with a classic placket design. 
Chain-stitch runoff (“empty chain ends”) is reproduced at both side seams—a detail originally seen in the era of mass production to improve efficiency. It is an essential element that adds an authentic vintage character.
*Note: As this finish faithfully preserves the original historical detail, the lengths of the chain-stitch runoff on the left and right sides may vary. Please be aware of this before purchasing.*
The chest pocket features a flap pocket. The small hole in the flap functions as a pen holder, allowing a pen to be inserted without opening the flap—a practical detail rooted in classic workwear.
Inside the placket is a “Union label,” a mark once used by unionized manufacturers. This detail is carefully recreated with vintage work shirts in mind.
Additionally, workwear elements such as triple stitching, thread rivets, diamond-shaped buttons, and a gusseted hem are all thoughtfully incorporated. 
A relaxed silhouette without feeling bulky
With a generous body width and slightly longer length, this piece offers a comfortable, relaxed fit that never looks sloppy, conveying a sense of mature ease.
The rounded hem adds a classic touch and pairs perfectly with wide-leg trousers or shorts.
