An evolved, highly durable premium nylon material
The 2026 model has been updated with a PFAS-free nylon outer fabric.

Beyond its environmental benefits, the new material offers enhanced durability for long-term use, along with a more refined, sophisticated look suited to the urban environment.

The fabric is less prone to developing a whitish appearance from wear, allowing it to maintain its beautiful look for longer. Its excellent color clarity also gives dark shades such as black a deeper, more sophisticated tone.

The supple, soft feel characteristic of nylon is another highlight, providing a more comfortable wearing experience than previous models.





“HEAT NAVI” that converts light into heat
The lining features DESCENTE’s proprietary “HEAT NAVI” heat-retention system. It absorbs nearly all wavelengths of light and converts them into heat, helping to raise the temperature inside the garment.

Not only in sunny conditions, but also on cloudy days, the system efficiently utilizes even small amounts of available light to help maintain comfortable warmth outdoors in winter.





Exceptional water resistance that defines Mizusawa Down
One of the weaknesses of conventional down jackets is that water can penetrate through stitched areas.

Mizusawa Down eliminates outer stitching through heat-bonded, non-quilted construction. In addition, the seams are sealed with seam tape to help prevent water from penetrating, providing exceptional water resistance.





A certification that is kind to both birds and people
This jacket uses traceable 750FP French white duck down certified by “DOWNPASS.”

The certification guarantees that the down is sourced in accordance with animal welfare standards and that strict quality standards are maintained throughout the process.

The “Para Hood System” allows the hood to be stored compactly, helping prevent water and snow from accumulating around the hood area. Waterproof zippers are used in key areas to further enhance water resistance.



The high-neck design helps keep cold air out, while down insulation in the neck area helps retain warmth. Details such as the inner rib-knit collar, double-layer cuffs, drawcords inside the side pockets, and powder skirt inside the hem help block wind, retain warmth, and improve the fit.







The “Dual Zip Ventilation” system on the front zipper features two rows of zippers with mesh fabric between them, allowing outside air to enter while releasing excess heat and moisture that can build up inside the jacket.



Pit zips are also incorporated under the arms to further enhance comfort.



In addition to the front pockets, waist pockets are also included.





Pockets are placed on both inner chest areas, providing ample storage capacity without the need for a bag.





While maintaining the sharp and refined image of the Mountaineer, this model has been updated with a more relaxed sizing. It provides enough room to comfortably wear sweatshirts or knitwear underneath, making it ideal for everyday urban wear.
