The wide straight silhouette, based on the previous model of the "M47" cargo pants, a masterpiece of the French Army, has a roomy fit for easy movement and a relaxed atmosphere.
The fusion of high quality high count twill and 40's chino design creates a pair that is military in origin, but also fits in with elegant styling.

A denim brand with its own textile manufacturer in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture—a region globally renowned for denim. Founded in 2011, the brand started to share the quality of MADE IN JAPAN DENIM abroad. Combining silhouettes recognized in Europe and the U.S. with domestic craftsmanship, Japan Blue Jeans offers a new perspective on denim.
Durable and Rich-Textured High-Count Twill
Both warp and weft use finer 40s three-ply yarn than standard chinos. Woven at high density, this creates a firm texture with a refined sheen and tactile richness, while maintaining exceptional strength.
Though technically demanding due to the finer yarn and high density, these fabrics offer excellent cost performance. Free from the heaviness typical of chino materials, they suit a wide range of occasions.
The sides are finished with double stitching and then washed to create vintage-style puckering (whiskering). Continued wear enhances the vintage look over time.
Details Inspired by 1940s Chinos
The front features a watch pocket, the back has angled belt loops, and the rear pockets are double-welted.
Additionally, four-hole buttons with a glossy finish reminiscent of urea resin replicate original details. The front button is intentionally replaced with a zipper for added functionality.
