Crafted from premium wool woven in Bishu, Japan’s foremost wool-producing region, this piece reinterprets the fabric in a crisp typewriter weave and is finished with a washable treatment for modern ease. The fabric is “High Twisted Wool Typewriter,” crafted from 100% wool sourced in Bishu, Japan’s renowned wool-producing region. It features the crisp, dry hand unique to high-twist wool, combined with the dense weave and structured firmness characteristic of typewriter cloth.
This construction preserves wool’s rich texture while enhancing wrinkle resistance, making it practical for everyday wear.
A washable finish allows for hand washing at home.
Easy to care for without relying on dry cleaning, it transitions seamlessly between on and off-duty styling.

The front features set-in sleeves, while the back adopts raglan construction to increase range of motion—known as a hybrid “set-in raglan” structure. This design enhances shoulder mobility while maintaining a refined silhouette.
Premium Takase shell buttons are used on the placket and cuffs, offering durability with a natural luster. A concealed placket highlights the minimalist aesthetic while allowing the shell’s subtle sheen to stand out.
Each button is individually reinforced with careful thread wrapping, improving durability and reducing the risk of loosening.
