Inspired by the fatigue jackets worn by the U.S. military during the Vietnam War, this piece is carefully reconstructed in Japan by FOB FACTORY.
Its defining feature is the herringbone twill fabric. While preserving the authentic texture rooted in military garments, the fabric is washed from the start, allowing it to feel naturally broken-in and comfortable from the very first wear.

A brand inspired by vintage clothing, rooted in workwear, military garments, and jeans. Based in Kojima, Kurashiki City in Okayama—one of Japan’s most renowned production hubs—FOB FACTORY carries out all processes domestically. Their goal is to create clothing that customers will still be glad they purchased three years down the line.
The Choice of Herringbone Twill
The fabric used is herringbone twill, a classic military material recognizable by its distinctive pattern resembling the bones of a herring.
While it has a moderate weight, the fabric is already washed, giving it a soft feel from the start. The stitching develops natural fading, giving the piece a vintage-like character from the very first wear.
Not overly rugged and not too light—this perfectly balanced fabric makes it an ideal outer layer for spring and autumn.
The neckline features a regular collar design. The buttons are durable BDU buttons, a detail commonly used in actual military garments.
A flap pocket is placed at the chest.
The cuffs feature a classic cuff design, allowing you to roll up the sleeves to change the styling.

The silhouette offers comfortable room while maintaining a clean overall balance. It works effortlessly when thrown over a T-shirt, yet pairs just as well with a shirt and slacks for a more polished look.
