Both denim and leather become more interesting with time.
The crown is made from 12oz selvedge denim, slowly woven on vintage shuttle looms.

Unlike today’s high-speed looms, these looms weave yarns of varying thickness at a slower pace, creating subtle irregularities, texture, and character throughout the fabric. Rather than being overly uniform from the start, the denim has the simple, authentic character of traditional denim.

With continued wear, the denim develops uneven fading and a vintage-inspired appearance. The golden-brown stitching further enhances its classic denim character.

The brim and top button are made from washed genuine leather. While denim and leather are a timeless combination, washing the leather gives it a naturally worn-in character that pairs beautifully with the denim.





Attention to every detail, right down to the brim.
The brim features six rows of stitching, giving it a firm, well-defined structure. More than just a design accent, the stitching adds a classic character reminiscent of traditional work caps.



The lightweight construction features no lining, while the inner seams are carefully finished with piping. Even details that are not visible from the outside reflect the precision and quality unique to Japanese craftsmanship.





The back features a dark brown saddle leather adjuster. It allows for size adjustment while adding a subtle accent with its rivet detailing.



Since the brim has no stiff insert, the cap can be rolled up and stored in a bag. A practical design that is also easy to carry.



One of HIGHER’s key focuses is achieving the right balance when worn.

This cap features a slightly shallow crown for a lighter, more streamlined look. The relatively soft denim naturally settles on the head, creating a softly rounded silhouette with an easy, natural shape.
