This model is a reissue of "MICRO LIGHT JACKET" which was sold from 1980's to 2003 and was a long seller for more than 20 years. SOLOTEX is supple yet resilient, wrinkle resistant and has excellent colour rendering. The jacket is packable to make the most of its functionality, making it highly portable. The jacket features a reprinted rainbow logo, high performance SOLOTEX fabric, raglan sleeves for easy movement and easy on/off, two adjustable cuffs with buttons, drawcord hood and hem for adjustment, and an inner left side pocket. Drawcords at hood and hem.

This jacket is a reissue of the MICRO LIGHT JACKET, which was on sale from the 1980s to 2003 and was a long seller for over 20 years. Moreover, the rare "Rainbow Logo" that was used for a short period of time in the 90's has been revived!

Retro outdoorsy vibe, but with a bouncy yet supple, wrinkle-resistant functional material and beautiful colours!
Packable and portable, it's the perfect piece for the spring and summer outdoor and holiday seasons.

What is the rainbow logo?
In the 1990s, Sierra Designs released a number of thin nylon models, and for a short period of time, the rainbow logo was used on these models, which have now been reissued. The mountain depicted in the Sierra Designs logo is the mountain commonly known as Half Dome in Yosemite National Park.

Yosemite National Park is famous for its moonbeam rainbows, and this logo is a representation of that. (Moonbows often don't look like seven colours because the light is too weak)

"SOLOTEX"
A new, industry-focused material developed by Teijin Frontier. A new material developed by Teijin Frontier. It has a soft touch and texture that conventional synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon could not express. In addition, it is characterized by its excellent morphological stability, which makes it resistant to wrinkling and loss of shape, and keeps its beautiful silhouette for a long time. Despite being made of polyester, it also has a "bright and deep colour".

A thin but durable fabric that is also water repellent and can withstand light rain. Solotex is a fibre with infinite possibilities for making everything more comfortable to wear and use.

Made to be functional and easy to move
The shoulder area is designed to be easy to move around in and easy to take off. Raglan sleeves for ease of movement and easy on/off. The hood can be closed all the way to the top, leaving plenty of room at the neck, and can be adjusted with the drawcord.
Side zip pockets to keep things from falling out.
The cuffs can be adjusted in two widths with snaps, and the hem has a drawcord that can be cinched to keep the wind out.
Travel friendly and packable
