Illustrator Yunosuke designed the logo using “Nanga Parbat,” the 9th highest mountain in the world, as a motif. The body is made of eco-friendly and tough fabric, and the item is made to be used for a long time until NANGA's 40th and 50th anniversaries.

The company uses safe, high-quality down and produces it with its own unique sewing technology. It is known as the leading brand of winter down outerwear in Japan.

Combining Softness and Durability

The fabric used is recycled cotton "Ferre Yarn". It features a moderate fabric thickness and a smooth touch. By blending cotton with polyester, the fabric gains strength and flexibility while maintaining its softness and durability.

What is Ferre Yarn?

Ferre Yarn is recycled cotton that meets international recycling standards and is GRS certified. It is recycled and spun into yarn using advanced technology, significantly reducing energy consumption during the spinning process, making it an environmentally friendly material. Please note that other colors and fibers may mix during spinning, which is characteristic of recycled fibers.

30th Anniversary Logo

The logo, designed by illustrator Yunosuke, features Nanga Parbat, one of the world's 14 peaks above 8,000 meters, standing at 8,126 meters. The "30" number appears like a sunrise from the mountain ridge, creating a timeless design reminiscent of vintage items from 2024.

Why is "座(Seat)" Used as a Unit for Counting Mountains?

In Japan, mountains are counted using the unit "座(Seat)" (one seat, two seats, etc.). This stems from the ancient Japanese belief that the mountain summit is a place where gods sit, reflecting the deep respect Japanese people have for nature.

The 30th anniversary logo is placed on the left chest, and an arch logo is located at the back of the neck. The neckline features a binder neck with a durable, stretch-resistant design for a tough item you can use heavily.
