Founded in 1979 in Airshire, Scotland, Glenroyal began developing bags, wallets, and accessories using high-grade bridle leather. Maintaining traditional materials and techniques, each item is handcrafted by skilled artisans.







High-quality bridle leather
Glenroyal uses carefully selected, high-quality bridle leather. This leather is tanned using plant tannins and has been developed for use in British noble's equestrian gear. It offers excellent durability.

The leather is infused with oils and waxes that enhance the strength of the fibers, making it relatively water-resistant. Over time, the leather’s color and gloss deepen, showcasing a beautiful aging process.





Enjoy the rich patina
The surface of the leather may display a whitish powder known as “bloom,” which occurs when the wax within the leather crystallizes. This is a unique characteristic of bridle leather.

As the leather ages, the bloom gradually peels off, revealing the leather underneath. Within about two months, the appearance changes significantly, and you can enjoy the process of “growing” the leather each day.
