SEUVAS presents a pocket T-shirt featuring traditional Kyoto dyeing techniques, “water indigo dyeing,” and showcasing the craftsmanship of skilled artisans.
The body is made from extremely soft 100% cotton jersey fabric sourced from deadstock. This fabric has been dyed using “water indigo dyeing,” which produces a lighter, more transparent color than traditional indigo dyeing.
Additionally, the design focuses on comfort and durability. The neckline features a double-layered binding for a secure fit, while the left side seam is single-sided for comfort, and areas prone to skin irritation are finished with flat seams. Every detail has been meticulously considered to create a truly exceptional piece.

Fundada en 2017 en Kurashiki, Okayama, SEUVAS es una marca que combina dos tradiciones: la "tecnología de costura" capaz de soportar ambientes hostiles y el "lienzo Kurashiki", un textil con más de 130 años de historia. El nombre "SEUVAS" es una combinación de "SEWING" y "CANVAS", lo que representa una marca que crea "ropa libre" combinando estas dos tradiciones.
La belleza y funcionalidad de los materiales naturales
El tejido utilizado es jersey 100% algodón. La tela se tiñe utilizando el método tradicional de teñido índigo de Kioto, conocido como "mizu-ai-zome" (teñido índigo al agua).
"Mizu-ai-zome" utiliza índigo cultivado en los arrozales de Kioto para crear un color índigo suave y translúcido. Esta técnica tradicional se utiliza a menudo para kimonos, noren (divisores de tela) y furoshiki (paños para envolver).
A diferencia del típico teñido índigo, este método da como resultado un tono más suave y el efecto de degradado natural es ampliamente apreciado.
Además de su color elegante, el índigo ofrece propiedades antibacterianas, desodorizantes y repelentes de insectos naturales.

Especificaciones de costura cuidadosas

Hay una costura unilateral en el lado izquierdo, una característica que se utiliza para resaltar las características de la tela muerta.
