About the Transport Model
The Transport model, rooted in Barbour’s heritage of outdoor lifestyle gear, takes inspiration from mountain bikers and was introduced in the 1990s. While initially thought to be for transport workers, its functional design also suits cycling enthusiasts.
The length, longer than the Spey but shorter than the Bedale, is designed to avoid interference while riding.
Lightweight Diamond Quilting
Featuring nylon with a subdued gloss and quilted texture, this jacket offers a sophisticated look with excellent windproof and warmth-retaining properties. It’s designed to layer well without adding bulk.
Additionally, the smooth interior provides a stress-free wearing experience.
The back upper lining showcases the vintage-inspired Dress Gordon tartan, with a commemorative 130th-anniversary patch at the center.
Timeless Details
The collar is lined with golden-brown corduroy, a color used in Barbour’s original wax jackets.

The front features Barbour’s signature heavy-duty double zipper and snap-button closure, adding a classic touch. The top snap button is engraved with “130” in celebration of the anniversary.
