Fondée en 1971 par deux étudiants de l'Université de Californie, Marmot est une marque de plein air issue du groupe de randonnée « Marmot Club ». En tant que première entreprise de vêtements d'extérieur à adopter le GORE-TEX, Marmot a révolutionné l'industrie. Elle est restée fidèle à sa philosophie originale, libre et créative, en proposant les meilleurs vêtements de style de vie au monde.
