Founded in Leicester, England in 1936, Gymphlex began by producing training shorts for the military. By the mid-1900s, the brand’s athletic wear had spread throughout the UK, adopted as gym uniforms by schools, the England national rugby team, Prince Charles’ polo club, and prestigious prep schools such as Eton and Harrow. Today, Gymphlex remains a widely recognized and beloved British brand.

Classic details with a griffin accent
The shirt features a standard button-down collar, complete with traditional details such as a back hanger loop and a collar button to hold the shape in place.



A small griffin embroidery, the brand’s signature emblem, sits at the chest. Stitched in a tone-on-tone thread, it adds a subtle accent without overpowering the design.



The sleeves feature two pleats at the cuffs, creating a natural drape. Rolling the cuffs lends a relaxed look and highlights accessories like watches or bracelets.
