ORCIVAL
ORCIVAL / Solid Crew Neck Long Sleeve Pullover
A French casual staple, ORCIVAL's crew neck long sleeve. Using the brand's signature "COTTON LOURD" material, it has a simple yet distinctive presence that makes it a perfect one-piece item. It combines a rough texture with durability, and the more you wear it, the more the taste deepens, making it a truly classic piece that will be with you for a long time.

ORCIVAL
Founded in 1939 and named after a small village in France’s Auvergne region, ORCIVAL is a heritage marine wear brand created by Charles Bart. In the 1950s and 1960s, it supplied striped T-shirts as part of the French Navy’s uniform. By the 1970s, the brand had expanded into the general market and has since remained a beloved symbol of French maritime style.
French-made “COTTON LOURD” — rugged yet refined
The hallmark of ORCIVAL, “COTTON LOURD,” is a fabric knitted with two strands of 16-count open-end yarn. Its coarse, textured surface reflects the same robustness found in denim yarns, while washing gradually softens the fabric, allowing it to develop character that blends naturally into everyday life.
Refined details with a touch of playfulness
A compact crewneck with a narrower neckline and deeper front drop gives a clean, balanced look.
The shoulders are designed with a steeper slope for a sharp, tailored appearance, elevating it beyond the level of a simple cut-and-sew piece.
The brand logo on the left sleeve and the signature bee emblem patch at the hem provide subtle accents to its minimalist style.
A relaxed fit with generous width creates a casual yet sophisticated silhouette, free from any sloppiness. It pairs equally well with jeans or tailored trousers, embodying the versatility and refinement that define this iconic French brand.

Staff comment
● Staff (165cm / 52kg) Body type: Slim Wearing size: 3 The length covered about half of the hips, and the body width offered plenty of room. Sleeves were slightly long, reaching the back of the hand, but rolling them up gave a lighter feel. Overall, it had an oversized silhouette—great for those who prefer a relaxed look. |
● Staff (171cm / 61kg) Body type: Average Wearing size: 3 The length neatly covered the waist, with sleeves just hiding the wrists. The body width had a comfortable ease, giving a relaxed wear. Not too snug and not overly loose—balanced sizing that works well for everyday use. |
● Staff (177cm / 67kg) Body type: Average Wearing size: 4 The length reached around the hips, with sleeves slightly covering the back of the hand. The body width was roomy enough to layer over a shirt. Although overall generous, it gave a modern relaxed silhouette that felt on-trend. |
● Staff (181cm / 80kg) Body type: Solid build Wearing size: 5 The length fully covered the hips, and the sleeves provided secure wrist coverage. Shoulder and body width were comfortable, making it easy to wear even for a solid build. There was room to layer thicker innerwear, so it could also work as an outerwear-style fit. |
