Created in 2019, RIG FOOTWEAR is a Japanese recovery sandal brand developed after four years of research on the unique characteristics of Japanese and Western feet. These sandals are specifically designed to provide maximum comfort for Japanese feet, making them ideal for relaxation after standing or exercising. Compared to rigid sandals, they reduce stress on the back and hips, making them suitable for those with back pain or hernias.







Flexibility and Durability Combined
The upper is made of Clarino synthetic leather, a functional material that offers the texture of natural leather while being lightweight, highly durable, and resistant to water.

The material’s stretchability allows for a gentle fit, making these sandals flexible enough for active movement. They are versatile for both daily use and outdoor activities.

The key feature of the "kuruka 2.0" is its dual-belt design that provides excellent foot support. The fit can be adjusted to match the width and height of your feet, ensuring comfort during extended wear.

The three-layer footbed, midsole, and outsole reduce impact on your feet and hips by about 40%, ensuring comfort even with prolonged use. The midsole is designed in a bucket-seat style, providing stable walking support with moderate energy return for natural propulsion.



The outsole is designed with the durability of a proper shoe, making it suitable for both urban streets and light trails.
