The upper material used in Birkenstock shoes is "Birko-Flor®," a durable and easy-to-care-for synthetic material unique to Birkenstock. The buckles are built to withstand years of use, treated with corrosion prevention and multiple layers of baked-on paint.

The underside that directly touches the skin is made from fleece, and the buckle fasteners are inwardly bent in a pretzel shape, ensuring a gentle feel against the skin.





Comfortable for Long Walks
The toe grip naturally creates space between the toes, supporting them as they grip the ground during walking. The heel bar works to stabilize the rear foot, enhancing walking and muscle movement alignment.



Furthermore, the vertical and horizontal arch structure cradles the foot's skeletal structure, ensuring it stays in a stable position. This encourages walking with proper posture, creating a natural and beautiful alignment in the legs.

The deep heel cup fits snugly around the heel, supporting the muscles of the feet and keeping them in their natural position at all times.
