Unmatched High-Spec Fabric
The outer fabric is made from "DERMIZAX," developed by Toray. This high-performance membrane offers top-level waterproofing, breathability, and condensation resistance.

The 4-way stretch provides excellent flexibility, and the soft marshmallow-like texture ensures an unparalleled fit and feel.

Additionally, the fabric exhibits exceptional color "reproduction," achieving deep, matte black tones not found in other waterproof breathable fabrics.





Harnessing Light for +5℃ Warmth
The jacket's lining features "HEAT NAVI," DESCENTE's proprietary heat-retention system. It absorbs nearly all wavelengths of light and converts them into heat, offering 5°C more warmth compared to conventional materials.

Whether it's a sunny day or a cloudy one, this technology efficiently converts even minimal sunlight into heat, keeping you comfortable outdoors in various weather conditions.





Traditional down jackets often suffer from stitch holes along the seams, which can let water in. In Mizusawa Down, heat-bonded no-quilt construction eliminates visible stitching on the outer surface. For seams where stitching is necessary, seam tape is applied on the inside to further enhance waterproofing.





Ethical and High-Quality Down
This jacket uses 750 fill power traceable French White Duck down, certified by DOWNPASS.

The certification guarantees that the feathers are ethically sourced, and the down meets strict quality standards. You can verify the certification online by entering a code on the dedicated website. For this model, registration is in English, so please select "EN."





The Para-Hood System allows the hood to be compactly stowed away, preventing water or snow buildup. The use of waterproof zippers on key areas further enhances the jacket's waterproof performance.



The high-neck design prevents cold air from entering, while the neck area also contains down to maintain warmth. Additional features like the inner ribbed collar, double-layer cuffs, side pockets with drawcords, and an internal powder skirt at the hem enhance windproofing, warmth, and fit.







The Dual-Zip Ventilation system features two parallel zippers with mesh fabric in between, allowing air to circulate through the jacket and release trapped heat and moisture, keeping you comfortable.



Underarm Pit-Zip Ventilation is also included to further increase comfort.





2024 Model Improvements
Two internal chest pockets have been added, along with a detachable keychain for increased storage options.



The double cuffs have been redesigned for better fit and comfort.
