Remi Relief's denim shirts can be worn smoothly and have a natural vintage finish.
The button-down shirts sold in our store have been specially ordered with a band collar for a rougher look.
You can enjoy a free and rugged style that is not influenced by trends, and the high wearability of this item makes it a heavy favorite.

Denim fabric of moderate thickness
The original 8oz denim is made from Zimbabwe cotton, rope-dyed in indigo, and woven on an old-style shuttle loom. The use of old-style shuttle machines reproduces the vintage texture of those days without being too tidy. The craftsmanship is not primarily manual, but only seasoned, and the kettle is turned at low speed and carefully turned for 5 hours to avoid exposure to air for processing.

The highest quality Zimbabwe cotton
Organic cotton is handpicked one by one without the use of any pesticides at an altitude of 1,500 meters in southeastern Africa.
It can produce fine, strong, even yarns that are supple and durable.
Rope dyeing for vivid contrast
As the yarn is wound into a machine, it is placed in a tank of dye solution and exposed to air, where it is oxidized and colored. Through repeated dyeing in this process, indigo combines with oxygen in the air and is dyed a deep indigo blue.

Indigo has a very weak dyeability, and a phenomenon called "medium whiteness," which occurs when the dye does not reach the center of the yarn, where it is difficult to combine with oxygen in the air. This creates an exquisite contrast between the blue and white colors, which is a tasteful effect of repeated wear.

Band collar for a rougher look
Band collar shirts have a rounded neckline. The collar ends are not pointy, allowing the shirt to be worn in a rough, mature manner.


Exquisite puckering and vintage finish
Puckering by processing and stitching can be seen in various areas, such as the front placket and cuffs, giving the garment a vintage, rugged feel.

The design is universal, with a single pocket on the left chest, but no detail has been overlooked, such as the use of expensive shell buttons that are an extra-thick 4mm.

It is made in Japan at a limited sewing and processing factory, and the hidden pocket behind the hem, a Remi Relief staple, shows the brand's attention to detail.
