NANGA / Aurora Down Field Half Coat

Military style down coat
NANGA introduces a down coat with a military design.

The design motif is based on the N-3B flight jacket developed by the U.S. Air Force for use in extremely cold climates, but arranged in the NANGA style. The fabric is NANGA's best-selling fabric "Aurora Tex" and white duck down is used for the down, resulting in a lightweight, warm and comfortable down coat.






NANGA
Born in 1941 in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture. NANGA is a manufacturer of down products that continues to focus on domestic production. NANGA uses safe, high-quality down and produces it with its own unique sewing technology. It is known as the leading brand of winter down outerwear in Japan.






High-performance nylon
The fabric uses AURORA-TEX, a material that provides high waterproofness while not sacrificing moisture permeability, taking into consideration the weak point of down, which is wetting.

Although waterproofing can lead to moisture permeability loss, this material has fine pores created by bonding ultra-fine particles to polyurethane resin. As a result, air can pass through and moisture permeability is maintained.

Tear-resistant ripstop fabric
Highly functional nylon is made into a ripstop fabric, which has higher tear resistance than regular nylon. This fabric is durable and long-lasting for active use.






A piece for winter in Japan
The down is made of white duck down from Spain. Raised for long days in Spain's vast land and state-of-the-art facilities, the down is supple and soft, with excellent heat retention, insulation, and elasticity. It is not over-specified and ensures comfortable heat retention for life.






Details that leave no room for cold air to enter
On particularly cold days or when you want to prevent wind from entering, you can put on the hood and tighten the drawcords in the front and back to shut out the cold wind.



The front has a zip and button closure for windproof and waterproof protection, and a double zip. Velcro adjusters on the cuffs allow for fit adjustment.








Functional pocket details
The handwarmer pockets on the chest are shaped to fit your hands when you put them in. The inside is made of brushed tricot to keep warm.

The cigar pocket on the left arm has a pen holder and is ideal for storing small items. The large waist pocket is three-dimensionally shaped and has a large storage capacity.








Large size for easy layering
A large size and relaxed silhouette. The length is knee-length and completely covers the buttocks. In addition, the back length is set longer to create a military coat-like atmosphere.
