Modernizing a Classic Jacket
Updating the denim pullover jacket adopted by the US Army in the 1940s to give it a contemporary twist.

Practical Fabric
Made from 100% cotton fabric with a moderate thickness. The cotton material provides a comfortable feel against the skin.

The indigo color gives off a soft texture like it has been gently washed, exuding an original atmosphere. The beige color has a slightly muted, calm coloring, making it easy to incorporate into daily outfits.






Modernizing the Original
The design is based on the denim pullover jacket adopted by the US Army from the 1910s to the 1940s. By interpreting the details that would have been designed for workwear rather than combat wear in a contemporary way, it has been arranged into a unique piece that is characteristic of BARNS.



One of the representative details, the front pocket, has been modified to have an outward opening instead of the original inward opening, providing a convenient function as a hand warmer.



While the front is fully open, by making it a half placket, closing the buttons makes it look like the original pullover, which is also a point of focus.

The shoulder section adopts panels with inclines, creating a three-dimensional silhouette and providing a comfortable fit when worn.



There are two buttons on the cuffs, allowing you to adjust according to your preference.






A relaxed silhouette with just the right amount of room. By allowing room in the armholes, it can be worn casually without feeling bulky even when layered with thick innerwear.
