Revived in 2007 under the historic name once used by Mackintosh, this brand serves as Mackintosh’s casual line. Centered on outerwear, it offers collections that blend British heritage with a contemporary sensibility.
Rugged warmth with a rich, textured character
The fabric is “HEAT TWEED,” a functional tweed that modernizes traditional British wool tweed.
The surface is woven from 100% wool tweed with expressive texture, while the reverse side incorporates moisture-absorbing, heat-generating fibers—achieving remarkable lightness and warmth.
It is soft with a moderate weight, offering a comfortable feel without any stiffness.
The classic herringbone pattern adds an elegant, refined presence.
Authentic detailing
The collar is trimmed horizontally with corduroy and comes with a removable chin strap that allows both sides of the collar to be fastened upright. It enhances warmth while also serving as a subtle styling accent.
The sleeves are designed as relaxed, one-piece sleeves, with adjustable tabs at the cuffs to control the width.
Large front pockets provide both function and balance to the design.
The side vents at the lower back can be opened and closed with snap buttons.
