The hollow core of the alpaca fiber traps warm air, delivering remarkable insulation while staying lightweight. Its warmth is often said to be up to seven times greater than that of standard wool. A touch of polyurethane adds subtle elasticity for a comfortable fit that adapts naturally to different head shapes.
