FOB FACTORY / F137 Denim West Overalls
Inspired by a vintage pair of jeans from 1937, FOB FACTORY developed the F137 Denim West Overalls from the fabric up.
To recreate the raw, rugged character of denim from that era, the brand carefully selected everything from the raw cotton to the yarn, resulting in a 14oz selvedge denim with an authentic vintage feel. Period-inspired details are found throughout, including a cinch back, crotch rivet, and hidden rivets.
Rather than clean and refined, this denim has a distinctly earthy, rugged character from the start. It is a pair that invites you to enjoy not only how it looks today, but how that character evolves with every wear.

Inspired by vintage clothing, FOB FACTORY creates workwear, military wear, and jeans from its base in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture—one of Japan's leading production centers. Every stage of production is carried out in Japan, with the aim of making clothes that customers will still be glad they purchased three years later.
The secret behind its rugged character: neps
The fabric is made from American cotton grown in the EMOT area, a traditional cotton-growing region of the United States. Nep yarn is used for the weft, recreating the uneven, richly textured character found in vintage denim.
＜What are neps?＞
Neps are small knots and grain-like irregularities that appear on the surface of the fabric. In this denim, they are particularly pronounced, creating a coarse, rugged character that sets it apart from uniformly smooth denim.
The fabric weighs in at a substantial 14oz, giving it a reassuringly sturdy feel for denim. Its selvedge construction, woven on traditional shuttle looms, adds further depth and character.
From the crisp firmness and textured surface when new to the way it gradually conforms to the body over time, this denim reflects the care FOB FACTORY has invested in developing the fabric itself.
1930s character, recreated down to the details
The front features a button fly. Rivets reinforce the high-stress crotch area, while hidden rivets are used on the back pockets so they remain concealed from view.
All of the rivets have a rough, hammered finish reminiscent of the era. Unlike the uniform appearance of modern mass-produced hardware, they lend the jeans a distinctly rugged character.
A cinch back is placed at the rear waist, adding a classic accent around the waistline.
The jeans feature a classic five-pocket construction. A glimpse of the red selvedge edge can be seen along the coin pocket.
The leather patch is made from deerskin, reflecting FOB FACTORY’s uncompromising attention to detail, right down to the choice of materials.
Turn up the hems and the selvedge edge becomes a subtle accent. From the visible details to the hidden construction, every element is designed with 1930s denim in mind.
