This hooded coat is made of moleskin, a material synonymous with FOB. The heavy fabric is lined with a thick boa lining for enhanced protection against the cold.
There are many jackets made of moleskin, but there have been few outerwear that can be worn in the middle of winter, and we wanted to create a moleskin outerwear with high thermal protection.
The long length of this jacket wraps around the waist, where it is easy to get cold, and the silhouette has a generous amount of room despite its smart looks. This coat is warm without being overdressed, allowing you to enjoy a light winter outing.

A Japanese brand headquartered in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, one of Japan's premier production hubs. FOB FACTORY is inspired by vintage workwear, military gear, and jeans, producing all items entirely in Japan. Their philosophy focuses on creating garments that customers will cherish and feel satisfied with even after three years.
Cotton Fabric with Suede-like Texture
The fabric is made from FOB's original extra-thick moleskin. Moleskin fabric is dense, thick, and has a plush, smooth feel. Meticulously woven with high density, this fabric achieves improved strength and texture, with its short-cut nap giving it a refined and elegant finish.
Each jacket is pre-washed to give it a subtle worn-in look. Over time, the material develops attractive fading and conforms to your body, making it a joy to wear and care for.
After two years of wear, the fabric softens slightly, and the puckering around seams becomes more pronounced. Like leather or denim, moleskin offers the satisfaction of aging beautifully over time, evolving into a one-of-a-kind piece.

Thick Boa Lining for Exceptional Warmth
The interior features a luxurious, thick boa lining made from a blend of acrylic, wool, and alpaca. This plush lining, which extends from the sleeves to the hood, envelops the wearer in warmth and ensures excellent heat retention, even when worn with light layers.
The hood, designed to wrap snugly around the neck, includes a chin strap for extra wind protection, eliminating the need for a scarf. 
The front features a double-zip design, allowing for versatile styling and customizable silhouettes.
Underarm ventilation panels enhance breathability, preventing heat build-up.
The side pockets are lined with brushed fabric, perfect for warming cold hands. Inside, a patch pocket on the left chest offers convenient storage for small items.
Relaxed Fit with a Smart Look
With its raglan sleeves and wider body, the jacket offers a relaxed yet polished appearance. Ample room ensures comfort without looking bulky.
The long length provides additional coverage, keeping the hips and thighs warm while adding a sophisticated touch to any outfit.
Though inspired by military aesthetics, its versatile and clean design complements a wide range of styles, from casual to more polished looks.

This thick moleskin fabric is unique, and it’s great to have something wearable even in midwinter. |

You can feel the warmth even with minimal layers! The sleeves cover the hands, and the length falls just above the knees, making it easy to move around comfortably. |

●Staff (177cm/67kg) Body type: Average Wearing size: L The size is just right—neither too big nor too tight. The shoulders drop naturally, and the chest area has more room than it appears. The fleece lining makes it warm enough to wear with lighter tops. However, pairing it with baggy tops might feel a bit restrictive. The sleeves cover the hands, and the length falls just above the knees, giving it a sleek look. |

●Staff (181cm/80kg) Body type: Muscular Wearing size: LL I could wear the L size without any issues, but I found the LL size had a better balance as the length in L fell a bit too short above the knees. Despite the thick pile, it fits well even over a thin sweatshirt, with moderate room in the chest area. The sleeves cover the hands, and the length falls just above the knees, similar to the model in the photos. The double-zip feature allows for versatile styling, which is a great addition. |
