This denim jacket has the same details as the vintage 1st model, but with a modern modification to the length and silhouette.
The high-precision fabric, which looks like it's been used for real, has been carefully processed piece by piece by skilled craftsmen.
Even the frayed and damaged finishes, which can be seen everywhere, are truly realistic, as if they have been worn for years.
The silhouette is clean and tight fitting.
A modern take on a vintage piece that fits today's style. Natural fading by hand
The fabric is 12.5oz denim, woven on an old-style shuttle loom with khaki threads in the warp to add depth to the denim.

The denim is then carefully hand-painted by our craftsmen to give it a natural faded look.
We don't rely on machines or chemicals to bleach or wash our denim, but rather we take the time to fade it by hand.
Because it is all done by hand, the indigo remains deep in the fabric and the shades are clearly visible. When the fabric is washed, the indigo is removed evenly from the deepest part of the fabric, and the colour is not as deep as this. What is Gymphae Cotton?
The yarn we use is "Jinpabu Ecotton", a rare type of extra-long cotton, rope-dyed in indigo. It is the highest quality organic cotton, harvested one by one by hand without the use of pesticides at an altitude of 1500 metres in south-eastern Africa.
The cotton yields a fine, strong, even yarn, supple and durable.


Modern silhouette
Short in length, with a flattering hemline and long sleeves. The length is short, and the body and arms are tight and stylish overall.
The silhouette of this item has a rugged look, but it's not unattractive.


Faithful reproduction of authentic detail
"Pleated blouse. In addition to the front pleats that have earned it the nickname "the pleated blouse", this piece features patch and flap pockets on the left chest only.
It also has a back cinch, a buckle belt type adjuster with a riveted reinforcement. The back yoke also features two pleats, giving the garment a three-dimensional, easy-to-move structure.
