Driven by the desire to create simple, purpose-built gear and apparel, TRAIL BUM is an outdoor brand developed under the direction of Highland Design, led by Tomoyoshi Tsuchiya, a pioneer of ultralight hiking.









Built with Next-Generation Ultra 200X
The entire bag is made from Ultra 200X, an advanced material developed by the American company Challenge Sailcloth. It blends ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibres with recycled polyester.

Exceptional Strength:
It offers several times the abrasion resistance and tear strength of standard 500-denier CORDURA nylon.

High Water Resistance:
A 0.75-mil waterproof film is laminated to the interior, helping protect your belongings from sudden rain.

Enhanced Durability:
Its increased rigidity gives the fabric a crisp, structured feel that helps the bag retain its shape, even when lightly packed.

Versatile 13–19L Capacity
The roll-top closure allows the capacity to be adjusted easily according to the amount of gear you are carrying. By extending the roll-top section, the pack expands from 13 to 19 litres, providing flexible storage for a wide range of situations.









Comfortable to Carry
The shoulder straps are constructed from highly durable Spectra fabric. Soft yet supportive padding is combined with wider webbing to help prevent the straps from digging into the shoulders under heavier loads, ensuring lasting carrying comfort.

The removable chest strap helps keep the shoulder straps securely in place for greater stability and comfort while on the move. The gray slider buckle also incorporates an emergency whistle.



The streamlined design eliminates side pockets, helping to prevent snagging on branches while allowing for efficient packing and a clean, refined appearance.



A removable back pad is positioned inside. Besides enhancing carrying comfort, it also adds structure, making the pack easier to load and reassuringly easy to use, even for those new to packing.
