Skin-friendly and easy to care for "Birko-Flor"
The upper material is "Birko-Flor", which is used exclusively for BIRKENSTOCK shoes. It is a synthetic material that is highly durable and easy to care for.

The buckles are durable enough to withstand years of use, and are treated with corrosion protection and several layers of baked-on coating.

The backside, which directly touches the skin, is fleece, and the buckle clasp is bent inward in a pretzel shape for a gentle feel against the skin.
