This is the new colour of the classic tapered 5 pocket. The fabric is a 16oz black denim with serviette. The surface of the fabric is uneven due to the use of different yarns (#5, #6 and #7) in the warp. The sewing is done at a famous factory in Niimi city, Okayama prefecture, and the count, colour and number of stitches are changed everywhere.

The fabric is heavier and thicker than SANCA's classic 15.5 oz. denim and is slightly stiff at first, but will adapt naturally as you wear them. The warp yarns are made of different yarns (No.5, No.6 and No.7), which gives the fabric an uneven surface and a rough texture. SANCA

Carefully crafted by skilled artisans
Denim fabric is made using one of the few remaining old-style shuttle looms. The denim fabric is woven on one of the few old shuttle looms still in use, with the warp thread tension as close as possible to that of hand weaving, and the weft thread is slowly and carefully worked in by skilled craftsmen.
