Inspired by vintage clothing, FOB FACTORY creates workwear, military, and denim-based garments from its headquarters in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama — one of Japan’s leading production areas. All processes are carried out in Japan, with the goal of creating clothing that makes customers feel, "I’m glad I bought this," even three years later.

Indigo with dimension created by texture, unlike denim
The fabric uses 100% cotton sashiko material woven with indigo yarn for both the warp and weft. While using the same rope-dyed yarn found in denim, the unique sashiko weave creates a three-dimensional texture across the surface.

This textured surface enhances the contrast of indigo shades, creating a deep and distinctive expression unlike ordinary denim.



Sashiko has long been used for durable garments such as firefighter coats and martial arts uniforms. This piece retains that toughness while being woven with a softer construction, creating a substantial fabric with a comfortable feel that avoids excessive stiffness.

As it is worn, the indigo gradually fades and the shadows created by the textured weave continue to change. Enjoy the process of watching the fabric develop a character that is uniquely yours.







The design is inspired by Mao collar jackets from the Czech military of the 1950s and 1960s.





The chest pockets are positioned slightly lower, creating a distinctive balance that differs from a traditional work jacket.

The front features laurel leaf tack buttons. While not overly decorative, these vintage-inspired details naturally complement the rugged character of the sashiko fabric.









The silhouette offers comfortable room through the body while maintaining a clean vertical line.

It works naturally layered over shirts and cut-and-sew pieces, while also allowing comfortable layering with lightweight sweatshirts and knitwear when temperatures drop.

Pair it with denim or chinos for a classic workwear style, or combine it with slacks for a more refined look. Because the fabric itself has a strong presence, even simple outfits gain a distinctive character.
