Fondée en 1971 par deux étudiants de l'Université de Californie, MARMOT est une marque outdoor ancrée dans le « Marmot Club », un club d'alpinisme. Elle a été la première entreprise de vêtements d'extérieur à intégrer du GORE-TEX dans ses équipements, révolutionnant ainsi l'industrie. Fonctionnalité ajoutée à la texture du coton
Ce produit utilise un tissu mélangé coton-polyester légèrement d'épaisseur moyenne. La surface a une texture ferme ressemblant à du coton à 100 %, tandis que la doublure est douce au toucher.
Comparé au 100 % coton, ce tissu aide à réduire la propagation des taches de sueur, les rendant ainsi moins visibles. De plus, il offre d'excellentes propriétés d'évacuation de l'humidité, de protection UV (UPF20) et antibactériennes et désodorisantes, parfaites pour résoudre les problèmes liés aux vêtements d'été. 
Ce tissu est très extensible, ce qui le rend suffisamment résistant pour un usage quotidien et des activités de plein air. 
Effort dans le confort
Ce modèle décontracté à col légèrement montant est doté de polyuréthane pour plus d'élasticité. Il est plus souple que le corps de la chemise, ce qui facilite son enfilage et son retrait. 
Le logo MARMOT classique est brodé sur la poitrine gauche, ajoutant une touche simple mais élégante. 
Ajustement parfait pour la superposition
En donnant au corps un peu d'espace et en raccourcissant légèrement la longueur, cet article a fière allure seul et est facile à superposer avec des chemises ou d'autres vêtements.
