The fabric is a natural-textured nylon that might be mistaken for cotton, but it is ultra-lightweight and flexible. It offers excellent wind protection and moderate water repellency. 
Practical Details for City Use
Designed with city use in mind, it includes features that are beneficial for everyday wear. The lining and pockets are equipped with mesh, preventing the fabric from sticking to the skin due to sweat. 
The hood includes a drawcord for adjustable fit. 
The front features a double zipper and the hem has a drawcord, allowing for silhouette adjustments to fit different styles. 
The left pocket features an embroidery from the original Marmot designs, adding a touch of the brand's early days to the piece.
