SHUTTLE NOTES
SHUTTLE NOTES is a shirt brand born from Ueyama Orimono, a weaving mill founded in 1948. Rooted in the Banshu region of Hyogo Prefecture, the brand is dedicated to shirt fabrics—handling every step in-house, from raw material sourcing to spinning, designing, weaving, and finishing. Through collaboration with designers and creative directors, it delivers refined quality woven directly from craftsmanship.

Premium Giza twin-yarn × ultra-dense poplin
The outer fabric uses 100/2 (two-ply) Giza cotton woven at an extremely high density both horizontally and vertically. This creates a material that is both durable and supple, with a natural sheen and refined surface like silk.

It offers a remarkably smooth touch—almost unbelievable for cotton—balancing firmness, drape, and elegance in a single fabric.

Casual ease with a dress sensibility
The smaller collar brings a minimal and refined impression. Even when worn open, the neckline maintains a clean shape without excessive spread.

The sleeves are designed to gently gather at the wrist, allowing the fluid drape of the fabric to enhance movement with an elegant touch.

The shallow curved hem keeps balance when worn untucked, delivering a relaxed yet polished look.
Carefully considered in every detail, the shirt transitions effortlessly from everyday wear to elevated occasions.

The silhouette is relaxed yet smart—more effortless than a formal dress shirt, yet still refined. The length is balanced to be worn tucked or untucked, making it versatile across styling—from casual to jacket pairing.

Size comparison
In size L, the fit offers moderate ease with a clean impression that highlights its dress shirt detailing.

In size XL, it becomes more casual and relaxed, with a longer sleeve length that allows it to be styled like a shirt jacket.

Staff comment
● Staff (165cm / 52kg) Build: Slim Wearing: Size M Wearing a relaxed fit, the beautiful sheen and drape stand out, giving an impression of sophistication, not just roominess. The length is slightly longer, but the clean hemline ensures it doesn’t look sloppy even when left untucked.
● Staff (171cm / 61kg) Build: Average Wearing: Size M A comfortably relaxed fit. The shoulders and chest have ample room, making it incredibly light and easy to wear. The sleeve drape is elegantly styled, letting the fabric’s qualities shine. For a refined yet casual look, size M is ideal, while size L is better for a more laid-back style.
● Staff (177cm / 67kg) Build: Average Wearing: Size L I wore the same size as the model in the photos. It’s a slightly relaxed fit, offering the right amount of ease through the shoulders and body without appearing too casual. The length covers the hips at the back.
● Staff (181cm / 80kg) Build: Solid Wearing: Size XL A true-to-size fit. There’s no tightness around the shoulders, offering excellent mobility. The body has just the right amount of ease, with the fabric’s sheen standing out. If you prefer a more laid-back, layered look, you might consider sizing up.
