"GIZA" is the name of a place in Egypt and the name of the seed of Egyptian cotton. It is said to be one of the world's three major types of cotton, and is a precious high-grade cotton that accounts for only 3% of all cotton production.

Longer fibers enable finer and stronger yarns to be made, so GIZA cotton fabrics have a light and supple texture and are also very durable. The Egyptian cotton also contains a moderate amount of vegetable oil, which gives it a gentle texture and a beautiful silk-like luster, even though it is cotton.
