The surface is made of DURON, a highly durable polyurethane material. DURON is a highly durable polyurethane material developed for use as a surface material, which is much stronger and more resistant to hydrolysis than ordinary polyurethane materials.

The matt, rubber-like surface has the feel of a wetsuit. It is also scratch resistant and highly water resistant. It is also a new environmentally friendly material, manufactured with 95% less harmful solvents.
